Cheryl and Dalton listen to Charlotte read from a book she checked out from the school library while Kevin goes over notices sent home with Dalton along with his day's schoolwork. Cheryl picks up the children from their schools at the end of the day and returns to "close up shop" in her classroom before heading home.
