  • “Daddy, please turn on the track. This worship song is my favorite”, Charlotte Marie Stock asks her father on the way home from a swimming practice as the song spreads through the car. Charlotte, who has six brothers and sisters, has grown up in a Mormon family. Because of her religion she spends a lot of time with her family so that their relationships grow strong. With six brothers and sisters is it a wonder they spend so much time together?

The Assistant Principal at Clinton Middle School, Jarrod Boyles, said “Charlotte transferred to this school in the fall. She is not only dealing with relationships with friends but also studying very hard.”

Charlotte, who likes to study English literature, receives straight A’s in school, except in physical education where she received an A- on her midterm report.

Charlotte’s day goes from 4:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. She begins by reading the Bible in the early morning and moves on to her activities throughout the day. After school Charlotte prefers spending time with friends and family rather than studying. With her two closest friends and siblings, Charlotte spends time playing the flute and studying the Bible. She also enjoys swimming at the local Benson Aquatic Center. Charlotte who likes to spend time with her sister Rebekah, three years her elder, said, “It’s very fun to be with my family, especially Rebekah. I am usually learning how to deal with all of the relationships around me.”

“Good relationships between family members at home is good nutrition for Charlotte to be a good student,” her father said.
