Jacob, 10 and Nicholas, 8 struggle to adapt to life after being abandoned by their parents. Their mother, Jennifer gave custody of the boys to their grandparents after she admitted to drug and alcohol abuse and was no longer fit to look after them. Despite the love and security provided by their grandparents the boys still struggle to find happiness in the absence of their own mother and father.
