Sami and Tammi do not leave the house as often as they would like. It is difficult on Sami's back to push the wheel chair around since she suffers from degenerative arthritis which is caused by cartilage loss. Tammi's doctor made a request in May for a motorized scooter, but it was ignored. When they return to the doctor this month they will submit another request.
