Story Summary

An argument is often made that government should get out of our lives and that communities need to care for their own. For Dan Anderson it's not an argument, it's his life. Driven by his Catholic faith, Dan wakes with a list of tasks in mind to carry him through the day. His volunteer work includes devoting his spare time to Kiwanis, Bread for Life Food Pantry, Special Olympics and the Sacred Heart Church. Working swing shift at Bodine Aluminum as a quality control manager frees up his day and allows him to care for the community of Troy.
