An eighth-generation farmer, Shelby Lowrey, 19, is continuing her family's legacy of growing crops and raising cattle. Her family's farm has grown to 2,500 acres of land that she works with her father and two older brothers, Derek and Aaron. For more than a year Shelby has dated hired farmhand Riley Gildwell. Unlike most women her age, Shelby is pursuing a career in agriculture. In addition to working with their father, Shelby and her brothers rent 110 acres of farmland to grow soy beans and corn.
