As coach of Trenton’s high school football team, Wes Croy is responsible for the pride of the community. The team has become his second family, with the players looking to him for guidance on and off the field. In the wake of the Bulldog’s first loss of the season, Croy faces criticism from the community for their poor performance. To secure victories on future Fridays, he works well into night, staying at school long after everyone else has gone home. His dedication to the team comes at a cost though. As a husband and father of three, he struggles to balance football with his personal life, often missing out on important moments of his children’s lives. Two “families” vie for one man leading a life where passion, responsibility, and sacrifice play for stakes far beyond winning and losing.
