For Kim Hotop, faith is essential.
Kim and her husband Jared Hotop decided that in order to build a deeper Catholic faith in their family, they needed to turn inward.
The parents elected to homeschool their six children, a desire that stemmed from a belief that their children’s learning should be kept pure.
“I think other people would see us as extremist,” Kim says. “People will say, ‘Are you crazy?’” But at the end of the day, the Hotops thank God for their blessings and continue to ask “did I do my best?”
