SMTS employee and New Jersey transplant, Jennifer Henessee, has created her place in the Perryville community as a bus driver for the elderly and disadvantaged, affording them the freedom and mobility for the routine and mundane that we so often take for granted. Since 1973, the SMTS Public Transportation department has been providing transportation options in 21 counties in Missouri. What started small has grown into a service that provides an average of 2,000 rides a month.
