This is a story of redemption.

Bruce Hayden, 35, did not have an easy youth. Born into poverty and with disability, he entered the world with many of life’s cards stacked against him.

After spending 8 years in prison, Bruce’s situation began to take a turn for the best when Marilyn and Eddie Lohman took him under their wing, welcoming Bruce into their home and their hearts.

Bruce is now working to gain employment, reconnect with the Perryville community and again be the glue that, prior to his incarceration, helped to keep his family together.
