After moving around the United States in her twenties and thirties, Missy Hawk returned to Eldon, Missouri, where she was was born and raised, to take care of her aging parents. When she adopted Wyatt, 3, Missy decided to stay in Eldon to give Wyatt a stable and happy childhood. Missy often brings Wyatt to her work at the Rocky Creeks Ranch.

“He’s a total farm boy,” Missy says. “Most kids play video games and stare at a screen; he gets to ride horses and ride tractors. He’s got a life that is very good for him”.
