”I have only been to one other barber in the last 50 years,” says Junior, 95. ”Never again.”

Then he sits down in the 100-year-old chair at the center of Murphy’s Barbershop on the main square of Mountain Grove, Missouri. Junior doesn’t really need a haircut. Neither do the other six men sitting in the shop, a part of what they call the “Liars Club.”

”I have the best wife in the world”, Murphy say out loud.

”Second best maybe, mine is the best,” answers yet another old man as he enters through the back door.
