Sally Cropp's three children have all given her grandchildren, but now she is raising two of them. Two years ago she became foster grandmother for her now 2 year-old grandson Devin. He joined his half-brother B.J., 17, who has lived with Sally for 3 years. The two share a father, Sally's son Brock, but have different mothers. Devin, because he is so young, requires more attention than B.J., but to support the family Sally has run her own housecleaning service for about 20 years.
